The major assignments for this course include the following.
1. The students will research and investigate a publically traded company. They will be responsible for investigating the background of the company, tracking their fictitious investment in that company and then, based on their reserach, determine whether or not they would invest in the company again.
2. The students will complete a portfolio assignment in which they will write a persuasive letter to a puiblic official taking a stance on a current economic issue. The assignment can be accessed by clicking on the following link.
3. Other than unit tests, the other major assessment is the student's final exam. The following link will take you to the final exam review guide. The students were provided with this information on the first day of class and are encouraged to use the guide as a tool to study for the unit tests as well as the final exam.
